We are currently desperate for new committee members to help with finding speakers and helping with outdoor activities such as pond dipping and bug sweeping

If we do not find someone who will sort out speakers for us then the group may have to close.

The Wildlife Trust in Towcester

Towcester Aerial View 1The town of Towcester has three main nature sites around it which the group are involved with, assisting to keep them clean or doing surveys.
Visit our Nature Sites page to learn more about them.
Visit the Sightings page to find out what has been observed in Towcester.

Involvement with schools has included holding pond dipping sessions as well as helping to create a wildlife garden. This picture shows us at the initial stages of creating a wildlife garden in the grounds of a local primary school.

We are lucky to have a very talented amateur photographer in the group, who takes pictures of the wildlife around Towcester, such as the Sparrowhawk picture shown at the top. Some more of his pictures are shown on Nicks Pics page
